Mom is doing good I have had a rough week with losing my little dog Teddy he had been a part of our family for eight years. The next door neighbors hound dog got out and attacked my poor Teddy when he was weighed @ the vet he weighed all of 6.9 lbs. The hound was @ least 75 lbs took him to the vet as I just said I tried holding him in my arms that night but, he was just to uncomfortable so I laid him on the couch and I laid next to him in a recliner and he past away about 11 pm that night it has been hard to go home from moms this last week but, have enjoyed the break from moms also Going home for the week-end to help Don take care of our grandkids for the week-end all five of them lol

A new twist for my cheese balls instead of Cheddar Cheese put pepper jack cheese in a bit more spicy but, yummy!!!!

My cousins daughter just found me on fb I love it been able to visit with her off and on all day.

Mom is doing well so thankful for that. Have started making my cheese balls for the year, Another Recipe I will have to put here although I think I have already shared it with everyone that has wanted it.

Cheese Ball

1pkg. cream Cheese

1 bottle of Roka Blue Cheese spread ( the last couple of years I haven't been able to find this so I use a Garlic Herb spread I have found @ wall-mart in the deli section.)

1 cup shreded cheddar cheese

1 Tbs Worchestershire sauce

1 TBs onion

Mix together roll into crushed walnuts makes two balls

I add to taste pepperoni, Jalapenos

Enjoy

Been awhile since I posted, mom is doing pretty good. Been able to spend quite a bit of time @ home thanks to my kids. Mentioned the recipe for Chicken Santa Fe thought I would share.

2 cups of Chicken Breast chopped

4 potatoes Cut up cook in microwave

1 can of corn

1 cup of Salsa

fry Chicken in two tablespoons of Veg. Oil, Mix in cooked potatoes let brown together mix in corn and Salsa Simmer LETS EAT

Its been a busy week, spent two days getting moms business taken care of still forgot her oatmeal so one more day of running to the store. Went out to the front porch and visited for a few minutes last night when I came in mom had started tearing the paper on the Oreos package cause she wanted a couple of more it was a easy open pkg. all she had to do was lift where it said lift here I showed her how to open the pkg hopefully she will remember and I won't come in and find Oreos all over the counter lol.

Mom is doing good she gets up every morning eats a very big breakfast. Hope everyone has a good week-end
