Sometimes when you grow up around certain treats its a shock when someone has never heard of one of your favorite Halloween treats.
Puffed Rice Balls has always been one of my favorite treats at Halloween.
Just like Rice Krispie treats.

Puffed Rice Balls

1 pkg. Marshmellows
1 to 2 pkgs. of Puffed Rice ( found in the cereal aisle ) 
1 stick Butter

Melt Butter and Marshmellows until smooth mix with puffed rice run cold water over hands and make balls as hands dry re wet them and cont.

Tonights dinner was Pioneer Womans Sour Cream Noodle Bake. Thought I would share the recipe.

Sour Cream Noodle Bake

1 1\4 pounds ground beef
1 15 oz can Tomato Sauce
1\2 teaspoon Salt
lots of pepper
12 oz egg noodles
1\2 cup Sour Cream
1 1\4 cups of Cottage Cheese
1\4 teaspoon Onion Powder
Green Onions sliced

Pre-heat oven @ 350 degrees
Brown ground beef drain add Tomato Sauce salt and lots of pepper stir and simmer while putting the rest together. Cook noodles, drain mix sour cream cottage cheese pepper and onion powder add noodles and green onions. Two ways to serve mix all together and top with Cheddar Cheese or layer half noodles sauce cheese and repeat. ENJOY

Its been months since I updated my blog I think its because I was using it to update people on how mom was doing, before that it was a few recipes I wanted to share. Now I'm hoping to get it started again with recipes and some quilts and crafts I have been doing. If theres something I do that you want to know about please feel free to let me know.

I believe I posted this once before but just in case here goes.

Snickerdoodle Muffins

1 1\2 c.self rising flour
1 c. Oatmeal
1\2 c.sugar
1 egg
4 Tbl Butter
1 tsp.Vanilla
1 c. Milk

Topping
1\3 c.sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon

Mix all dry ingredients, Flour, Oatmeal, 1\2 c. Sugar
Mix together egg, butter, Vanilla and Milk.
Mix all together until evenly mixed fill muffin tins Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 14
Brush with melted Butter and Top with a mixture of 1\3 cup of Sugar and 1 tsp. Cinnamon
